  • Experience Range: 15 - 18 years of experience, including substantial hands-on experience designing and implementing product management functions within large, complex organizations, ideally in regulated sectors Key Responsibilities: 1. Define the future-state product management role, differentiating it from business ownership, business process ownership, technical product ownership, and engineering functions 2. Develop and implement robust role architecture and competency models for critical product management positions, specifying outcome-based definitions and required business and technical fluency 3. Design and document the interaction model between product, business, and engineering teams, establishing clear decision rights, workflows, and accountability from business intent through delivery 4. Build and manage the transition and retirement map for current role families, supporting leadership in organizational direction and workforce planning 5. Lead capacity planning, organization sizing, workforce requirements analysis, and talent transition frameworks in collaboration with workforce planning and change management teams 6. Produce leadership-ready artifacts, including role comparisons, strawman models, and workshop materials, ensuring timely delivery aligned to fixed leadership milestones 7. Collaborate with the Head of Product and internal HR and Legal stakeholders to align recommendations, maintaining a clear distinction between advisory input and client decision-making 8. Integrate new skill requirements and operating approaches into product management roles to support the organization’s transition to an AI-enabled, specification-driven development model Required Skills: 1. Product management function design and implementation in large, complex, or regulated environments 2. Organization design and role architecture development 3. Expertise in AI-enabled, specification-driven development models 4. Experience managing product backlogs at program and enterprise scale 5. Product roadmap and vision development for large-scale organizations 6. Designing product blueprints and competency models 7. Business process analysis and mapping across enterprise domains 8. Advanced proficiency in presentation and documentation tools (e.g., PowerPoint, Miro, Lucidchart) 9. Talent transition frameworks and workforce planning methodologies
