Overview
Tigo’s Australian is looking for enthusiastic, technical, and highly motivated person who is passionate about renewable energy to help deliver smart system solutions to the market and build long lasting relationships with our customers.
In this role,
We require an Application Specialist to support the growth of our business and new exciting products into Australia, by guiding the sales and support team, and providing necessary market expertise to shape the product offering. This is an exciting opportunity for a self-starter to work within a global team to deliver world class Energy storage solutions to Australia.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide support of the sales team with technical clarifications and answers during the offer phase
• Provide support of the sales team for installer/distributor training
• Provide support of the customer service team during battery storage product launch and rollout
• Be the interface between global product management and technical for all battery storage applications
• Promote battery storage and other products solution withing Australia channels, advising any roadblock relating to compliance and regulatory
• Promote product solutions via presentations within installer and distribution channels
• Travel where necessary to be available for onsite support, problem solving and training
REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor of Renewable Energy Engineering
• 5 years’ experience working in Renewable Energy PV industry
• 2 years’ experience working within a solar manufacturer.
• Vast knowledge of the following standards
§ AS5033 installation and Safety requirements for PV arrays
§ AS4777 Grid connection of energy systems via inverters, Part 2: Inverter requirements
§ AS5139 Electrical installations — Safety of battery systems for use with power conversion equipment
• Excellent communication skills in English
