We have the premier technology offering debt management and intelligence. We need a director of marketing to make our products and platform shine in the market--with our partners,their customers, engineers, and the fintech ecosystem. For this role, we need:
Intellectual horsepower — The ability to ramp fast and can’t struggle with ambiguity. Understand the context and drive work independently while working alongside product and sales.
Impeccable writing skills — Must raise the bar for messaging and positioning for the product & company. Writing must be clean and error-free.
Genuine interest in solving business problems — Must enjoy problem-solving and wearing many hats. Willing to jump in and do some demand gen here, some content things there, and help build our marketing function.
You will:
Develop product messaging that differentiates new products and services from others in the marketMaintain and manage competitive intelligence and comparisons by working with cross-functional stakeholders and executing self-lead researchBuild our brand through thought leadership, PR, and other content.Determine how to talk about our products and capabilities in the context of different market segments and against the competition.Communicate the value of products and services via sales enablement materials.Assist sales on calls when appropriate to position and promote the story of our productsDevelop and implement promotional activities such as promotions and product launchesUse market research data to help determine and optimize product pricing, making it modular and scalable while constantly testing.Driving packaging and pricing bundles into engineering.Create product content such as case studies, videos, website copy and blog postsGain insight into customer use of current products, untapped opportunities and buyer personasMeasure and optimize the buyer journey as it relates to product feature adoption and usageManage marketing budget and approval processesTurn product and platform details into concise positioning & messaging
You have:
5+ years previous working experience as a Product Marketing Manager or marketing role.Track record of making things happen and figuring it outStrong Desire to move quickly and extend your skills in a high growth startup.Outstanding communication, presentation and leadership skillsExcellent organizational and time management skillsCreative thinker with a visionAttention to detail
You also likely have:
A Bachelor's degree in Business or related area, or equivalent Desire to work in an early stage startup and very motivated team.
