About the Job

As a Senior Demo Platform Engineer, you will design and operate a scalable demo environment platform across cloud infrastructure and application layers. You’ll partner with Sales Engineering, Product, and Engineering to translate demo requirements into repeatable, automated environments complete with realistic configuration, seeded datasets, and guardrails that support rapid iteration without sacrificing reliability.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and operate a standardized demo platform for provisioning and maintaining demo environments at scale
  • Implement infrastructure-as-code and automation for environment creation, updates, resets, and teardown
  • Build and maintain automation that keeps demo environments aligned with product releases, configurations, and feature requirements
  • Create and maintain “golden” demo templates, including realistic configurations and safe, reusable seed data
  • Improve reliability and user experience for field teams through observability, alerting, runbooks, and self-service tooling
  • Implement access controls and security best practices for demo environments, including secrets handling and auditability as needed
  • Partner with Sales Engineering and Product to support demo use cases, reduce friction, and accelerate time-to-demo
  • Diagnose and resolve issues across infrastructure, networking, application configuration, identity, and data
  • Act as an escalation point for complex demo platform problems
  • Develop metrics and dashboards for demo health, including availability, provisioning times, failure rates, and usage
  • Continuously improve platform reliability, automation, and the experience of internal technical users

Requirements

  • 6+ years in a highly technical engineering role such as DevOps, Platform Engineering, SRE, Infrastructure Engineering, Sales Engineering, Solutions Engineering, or a similar technical role
  • Strong technical foundation across cloud infrastructure, networking, application architecture, identity, security, or platform technologies
  • Hands-on experience automating technical workflows using scripting, APIs, infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD, or similar tools
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex issues across infrastructure, networking, configuration, and applications
  • Experience working closely with internal or external technical users
  • Demonstrated ability to learn unfamiliar infrastructure and automation technologies quickly
  • Strong scripting ability using Python, Bash, or an equivalent language
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or similar environments

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi, or another infrastructure-as-code platform
  • Experience building or maintaining CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar tools
  • Hands-on experience with Docker and containerized applications
  • Experience building self-service platforms, portals, CLI tools, or reusable templates for environment provisioning
  • Familiarity with feature flagging, configuration management, and multi-tenant demo environments
  • Experience with test data generation, sanitization, and refresh processes
  • Experience operating environments with compliance or security constraints
  • Experience supporting Sales Engineering, Solutions Engineering, technical enablement, evaluations, or customer demonstrations

Benefits

  • Medical, Dental & Vision (inclusive of domestic partnerships)
  • Employer Paid Life Insurance & Employee/Spouse/Child Supplemental life
  • Voluntary Short/Long Term Disability Insurance
  • 401K (Roth/Traditional)
  • A generous PTO plan that celebrates your commitment and seniority (including paid Bereavement/Jury Duty, etc)
  • Above market annual bonuses
