GTM Engineer

What You'll Do

This is a highly flexible, technical GTM role sitting at the intersection of sales engineering and revenue systems building. You'll work directly with strategic customers to understand their GTM challenges and demonstrate how Alta solves them, while also building and running the pipeline-generating systems and automations that power Alta's own growth. You'll wear many hats — from technical discovery calls to outbound automation builds — to help us scale a world-class revenue motion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sales Engineering: Partner with Account Executives on strategic and enterprise deals — running technical discovery, building tailored demos, and translating customer pain points into Alta use cases.
• Pipeline Generation Systems: Design, build, and operate outbound automations and prospecting infrastructure (using Alta's own agents — Katie, Alex, Luna — alongside other GTM tooling) to consistently generate qualified pipeline.
• Customer-Facing Solutioning: Act as a technical resource in customer conversations, addressing objections, answering integration and platform questions, and building trust with technical and business stakeholders alike.
• Marketing & Sales Automation: Set up and manage precise automation workflows (HubSpot, Zapier, Clay, and similar tools) to support both outbound generation and customer-facing motions.
• Data & Analytics: Monitor and analyze pipeline and campaign performance, report KPIs clearly, and turn insights into action.
• Sales Enablement: Build and maintain resources that help the sales team sell more effectively — battlecards, demo scripts, case studies, and pitch materials.
• Cross-Functional GTM Execution: Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, CS, and Product to keep GTM initiatives moving and aligned.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience with HubSpot, CRM systems, or AI-powered sales/marketing tools.
• Prior exposure to sales engineering, solutions consulting, or technical pre-sales is a strong plus.
• ~2 years experience in Software/SaaS companies.
• Passionate about startups and thriving in a high-paced environment.
