What will you be doing
  • Oversee and manage the company's global accounting operations and financial reporting processes, ensuring accuracy and adherence to best practices.
  • Direct an international team of approximately 15 finance professionals—primarily based in India—and manage complex multi-entity statutory requirements across 14 global subsidiaries.
  • Drive improvements in financial processes, leveraging software and AI-driven tools to enhance efficiency and insight.
  • Ensure all financial transactions and reporting meet rigorous government regulations and compliance along with board, bank, and investor reporting standards.
  • Collaborate with various internal teams to gather financial data and support operational objectives.
  • Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals, fostering a culture of accuracy, continuous improvement, and professional development.
  • Implement and refine accounting policies and procedures to support company growth and operational scalability.
  • What you bring
  • Deep understanding of US GAAP.
    Proficiency in ERP systems, NetSuite preferred.
  • Strong background in managing day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, T&E, leases, commissions, corporate card, expense policy management, month-end close, general ledger management, etc.
  • Proven track record in multi-currency, multi-jurisdiction financial consolidations and local statutory reporting for global subsidiaries with strong grasp of regulatory compliance requirements for financial reporting.
  • Familiarity with modern accounting technologies and workflow automation (e.g., FloQast, Concur, Tipalti)
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, for presenting complex financial data.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify trends and discrepancies.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and executive leadership.
  • Proactive approach to identifying and addressing financial risks and opportunities.
  • Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with a minimum of 8–10 years of progressive accounting experience.
  • Active CPA or CMA certification required.
  • Big 4 public accounting experience required.
  • Proven experience in a senior accounting leadership role within a growing technology or SaaS company.
  • Preferred location: US East Coast or Central time zone (for optimal daily collaboration with our India-based team).
