Revolution Medicines is a late-stage clinical oncology company developing novel targeted therapies for patients with RAS-addicted cancers. The company’s R&D pipeline comprises RAS(ON) inhibitors designed to suppress diverse oncogenic variants of RAS proteins. The company’s RAS(ON) inhibitors daraxonrasib (RMC-6236), a RAS(ON) multi-selective inhibitor; elironrasib (RMC-6291), a RAS(ON) G12C-selective inhibitor; zoldonrasib (RMC-9805), a RAS(ON) G12D-selective inhibitor; and RMC-5127, a RAS(ON) G12V-selective inhibitor, are currently in clinical development. As a new member of the Revolution Medicines team, you will join other outstanding professionals in a tireless commitment to patients with cancers harboring mutations in the RAS signaling pathway.

The Opportunity:

Revolution Medicines is seeking a Director, US Strategic Pricing, to develop and lead brand and portfolio strategic net pricing recommendations to include: pricing and contract research, advanced analytics, contract design recommendations, and gross-to-net forecasting to inform net price strategies and recommendations that ensure market position that align with reimbursement and access dynamics.

The Director will oversee provider contracting strategy, including engagements with Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs), Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs), integrated health systems, and government customers. Responsibilities include evaluating contract structures, assessing provider economics and ensuring contracting approaches align with site-of-care, reimbursement, and policy considerations. Additionally, the Director develops and delivers executive-level pricing and contracting materials for Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), clearly communicating pricing strategies, financial implications, and key decision considerations to senior leadership.

The Director will report to the Senior Director, US Strategic Pricing and will serve in a critical function to shape net pricing recommendations and strategies as the company grows as a commercial organization. This role will work closely with US and Commercial leadership, Finance, US and Global Forecasting as well as broader Commercial organization.

This role can be based in Redwood City, CA location or can be remotely based with up to 15% travel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead U.S. pricing and contracting analyses, including advanced financial models and scenario planning, to optimize list price, net price realization, and gross-to-net projections across commercial and government channels.

  • Serve as a subject matter expert in pricing and contracting, assessing market trends and competitive dynamics that impact pricing strategies, and developing mitigation strategies to optimize outcomes.

  • Drive forecasting and modeling to evaluate financial and access implications of competitive activity and alternative contracting structures with providers and government customers.

  • Ensure contracts and pricing strategies comply with federal and state regulations in partnership with Government Pricing and Compliance.

  • Provide strategic pricing and contracting insights to senior leadership, informing decision-making and positioning in response to U.S. healthcare policy changes and market access pressures.

  • Develop business cases to support the contract review and approval process in partnership with Legal, Brand Marketing, Market Access, and Finance.

  • Prepare and deliver executive level presentations for Quarterly Business Reviews, clearly articulating strategic options, financial trade-offs, and access implications.

  • Support cross-functional readiness for pipeline asset launches, incorporating relevant pricing and contracting strategies.

Required Skills, Experience and Education

  • Bachelor’s degree.

  • 10+ years of pharmaceutical market access experience.

  • 4+ years of Oncology product.

  • 6+ years pricing, and payer/provider contracting experience to support mandated and discretionary price strategies.

  • Extensive experience and demonstrated success in customer segment contract strategy, market knowledge, and pricing policies to support products and/or portfolio.

  • Strong understanding relationship within IRA policy guidelines and CMS price demonstrations.

  • Experience with day-to-day management of vendor partners.

  • Strong knowledge of trends, issues and policies influencing drug pricing and oncology market.

  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.

  • Ability to effectively deliver strategy and price recommendations and presentations to a variety of audience types across all levels of the organization with impact.

  • Embrace cross-functional collaboration with internal and external customers; possesses interpersonal skills to develop and maintain cooperative working and business relationships.

  • Ability to effectively resolve conflicts and multi-department alignment to delivery commercial goals and objectives.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with oral oncology therapies and targeted treatments for RAS-mutated cancers.

  • Advanced degree (MBA, MPH, or similar).

The base pay salary range for this full-time position for candidates working onsite at our headquarters in Redwood City, CA is listed below. Individual base pay salary is determined by multiple factors, including job-related skills, experience, market dynamics, and relevant education or training.

$201,000$251,000 USD
