Overview of Opportunity
Two Six Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Technical Program Manager to lead the execution of classified government programs in Herndon, Virginia. This role provides the opportunity to manage complex technical projects supporting national security, working alongside top engineers to deliver cutting-edge solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong technical and program management expertise, ensuring successful project execution, stakeholder engagement, and mission impact.
What you will do:
- Oversee the execution of classified technical programs, ensuring alignment with mission objectives and government requirements.
- Manage project timelines, program staffing, deliverables, and resources while maintaining high-quality outcomes.
- Collaborate with the technology SMEs to address technical program needs
- Serve as a key liaison between engineering teams and government clients, translating technical concepts into actionable strategies.
- Develop and implement processes, tools, and performance metrics to optimize program execution.
- Present technical and programmatic briefings to senior government officials.
- Support business growth by identifying opportunities to enhance capabilities within the classified domain.
- Participate in and lead proposal generation and delivery.
What you will need (Basic Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience managing technical programs or client engagements.
- Strong ability to communicate complex technical concepts to senior government stakeholders.
- Experience collaborating with engineers and cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment
- Experience managing program budget, resources, and schedules
- Experience documenting processes and ensuring compliance with government standards
- A proven track record of capturing Government R&D contracts/programs
- Familiarity with DoD/IC procurement and contracting processes
Nice to have (Preferred):
- Background in embedded systems, mobile systems, telecommunications, or critical infrastructure.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, secure architecture, or penetration testing.
- Background in reverse engineering, vulnerability research, exploit development, or CNO tool development
- Experience leading teams in a rapid prototype environment demonstrating scalable architectures
- Past performance as a Principal Investigator on fast-paced, innovation-driven, advanced technology R&D projects for Government clients
Security Clearance:
- Active Top Secret Clearance with ability to obtain
