The Sourcing Specialist is responsible for identifying and engaging qualified candidates across healthcare and non-healthcare roles. This position focuses primarily on candidate sourcing, outreach, and initial qualification to build strong talent pipelines for current and upcoming hiring needs.
The ideal candidate has experience sourcing across multiple industries, including healthcare, and is comfortable working on specialized, niche, and hard-to-fill positions. They should be able to quickly understand different job requirements and adjust sourcing strategies based on the role, industry, and target candidate profile.
Key Responsibilities
- Source qualified candidates for healthcare and non-healthcare roles through LinkedIn, job boards, professional networks, databases, social media, and other sourcing channels.
- Build and maintain candidate pipelines for active and upcoming hiring needs across different industries and functions.
- Conduct targeted searches for specialized, niche, and hard-to-fill positions.
- Perform initial candidate screening to confirm relevant experience, qualifications, location, availability, and other basic role requirements.
- Conduct candidate outreach through email, LinkedIn, phone, and other appropriate channels.
- Review candidate profiles and resumes against job requirements before endorsement.
- Maintain accurate and updated candidate information, sourcing activity, and pipeline status in the ATS or recruitment tracker.
- Follow up with prospective candidates and maintain engagement throughout the sourcing stage.
- Partner with recruiters and hiring teams to understand role requirements, sourcing priorities, and target candidate profiles.
- Track sourcing activity and results, including outreach, responses, qualified candidates, and endorsements.
- Identify sourcing challenges and recommend alternative strategies for roles with limited candidate pools.
- Maintain organized talent pools for future hiring needs.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in both healthcare and non-healthcare sourcing or recruitment is required.
- Experience sourcing clinical and/or non-clinical healthcare professionals, as well as candidates across other industries or functions.
- Proven ability to source for multiple roles simultaneously, including niche and hard-to-fill positions.
- Familiarity with LinkedIn, job boards, ATS platforms, and other candidate sourcing tools.
- Strong Boolean search, candidate research, and talent-mapping skills.
- Ability to quickly understand different job requirements and identify candidates who meet required qualifications.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple roles and sourcing priorities simultaneously.
- Detail-oriented with consistent candidate tracking and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and move with urgency in a remote, fast-paced recruitment environment.
