We are looking for a hands-on IT Administrator / (Senior) IT Administrator to take ownership of the day-to-day operation and continuous improvement of our IT environment in Germany while supporting our international teams.
This is a highly practical role for someone who enjoys solving technical problems, administering systems, supporting users, and continuously improving IT infrastructure. You will work across Linux and macOS endpoints, identity and access management, cloud services, networks, security tooling, and on-premises infrastructure.
You will be a key point of contact for IT topics in our Munich office and work closely with Engineering, DevOps, HR, and other business functions.
In addition to your core IT responsibilities, you will have the opportunity to develop your knowledge of Information Security and compliance, including ISO 27001 and TISAX. Previous compliance experience is welcome but not required—we are looking for someone who is interested in learning and growing in this area.

What You’ll Do
Hands-on IT Administration

Manage MDM, IAM, user accounts, permissions, SSO, and MFA.

Manage endpoint security solutions, including EDR/antivirus, patching, encryption, and security policies.
IT Support & Service Delivery

Troubleshoot hardware, software, endpoint, network, account, and access issues.
You will have the opportunity to learn how to manage ISMS based on ISO 27001 and TISAX frameworks. We are looking for someone eager to develop in this area.

Help maintain IT documentation, policies, procedures, asset inventories, and access records.

Support vulnerability management, patching, backups, disaster recovery, and security incident readiness.
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

Work closely with Engineering and DevOps on infrastructure, access, networking, and security topics.

Support business applications used by HR, Sales, Finance, Legal, and other teams.
What you bring
-
Several years of hands-on experience as an IT Administrator, System Administrator, IT Engineer, or similar role.

Experience with endpoint and device management, including MDM, centralized patching, encryption, and security policies.

Solid networking knowledge, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, Wi-Fi, VPNs, VLANs, and firewalls.
For the Senior IT Administrator level
Candidates considered for the Senior IT Administrator level should additionally bring:
- 5+ years of relevant hands-on IT administration or systems engineering experience, ideally in a technical or engineering-driven environment.
- Strong hands-on expertise across Linux and macOS, with the ability to independently troubleshoot complex endpoint and system issues.
- Proven experience taking ownership of MDM, IAM, SSO/MFA, endpoint security, networking, and access management.
- Strong networking knowledge with practical experience configuring and troubleshooting VPNs, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, routing, Wi-Fi, and firewalls.
- Experience independently owning technical projects from solution design and implementation through documentation and ongoing operation.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across endpoints, networks, cloud services, identity, and infrastructure, with the ability to resolve complex issues without relying primarily on external providers.
- Experience using scripting and automation to improve IT operations and reduce repetitive manual work.
- Ability to proactively identify weaknesses in an existing IT environment and independently propose and implement secure, scalable improvements.
- Experience acting as a technical escalation point and supporting or mentoring less experienced colleagues.
- Ability to work confidently with Engineering and DevOps teams and communicate effectively with highly technical stakeholders.
- A strong security mindset and interest in taking increasing ownership of Information Security, ISO 27001, TISAX, and ISMS-related topics.
Previous hands-on experience supporting ISO 27001, TISAX, an ISMS, or security audits is an advantage for the Senior level, but not required.
