Job description

Keenable builds AI infrastructure for web search and knowledge access at web scale. We are building systems and new retrieval primitives that make the world's constantly growing knowledge accessible to models.

If you do not match every requirement, you should still apply. We care much more about trajectory than polish. We hire for agency, speed, ownership, and the ability to turn ambiguity into working systems. This is a founding product role, which means broad ownership, strong judgment, and the ability to ship through ambiguity.

Responsibilities

  • Own product strategy and roadmap for a search engine purpose-built for AI agents.

  • Talk to customers constantly (agent builders, AI labs, enterprises) and turn what you hear into product decisions.

  • Solve our cold start: design the product hooks and feedback loops that take us from limited data to 10M+ diverse daily agent queries improving retrieval quality.

  • Define and drive the KPIs that matter: queries/day, retention, API integrations.

Requirements

  • Have shipped developer-facing or API products (search, data, or agent infrastructure is a plus, not a requirement).

  • Talk to users as a habit, not a ceremony. Customer conversations are where your roadmap comes from.

  • Can hold your own in technical discussions with engineers about latency, cost, and quality trade-offs.

  • Know the agent ecosystem and who are our competitors in the space.

  • Pure product instincts: strategy, specs, and shipped features.

Perks

  • Frontier AI infrastructure work with real technical depth and real scale.

  • High autonomy, low process, and real production problems.

  • Access to meaningful compute and infrastructure for experimentation.

  • Competitive compensation with meaningful early-stage equity.

  • A small, high-talent team with direct exposure to frontier customers.

  • Premium medical, dental & vision coverage, Health Savings Account (HSA).

  • 401(k) retirement plan.

  • Flexible time off — we trust you to manage your time and recharge when needed.

Things you should know

  • This is startup work. It is intense, ambiguous, and results-oriented.

  • Our interview process reflects real work. We evaluate how you operate, not trivia.

  • We move quickly when there is mutual excitement.

  • You'd be the first dedicated product hire: the roadmap, the discovery process, and the metrics are yours to build.

Sample problems you might work on

  • Design the PLG wedge that makes Keenable the default for agent builders (differentiated from competitors on latency, cost, and scale) and the flywheel that attracts, activates, and retains them.

  • Crack the cold start: chart the path from today's traffic to 10M+ diverse daily agent queries, including how to incentivize customers to share the feedback that trains retrieval quality.
