Job description

About Perry Weather

Perry Weather is the weather safety standard for organizations that operate outdoors. We combine on-site weather hardware with a software platform that automates alerts, siren activations, and safety decisions for more than 3,000 organizations, from NFL and MLB teams to school districts, construction firms, and golf courses. We've grown 80%+ annually for five years.

About the Role

The organizations that govern our markets already believe in what we do. This role turns that belief into a growth engine. You'll own two partnership motions: marketing partnerships with the associations and governing bodies that shape our markets' weather regulations, and the commercial activation of our product integrations. You'll work daily with Sales, Marketing, and Product, and you'll be measured on partner-sourced pipeline and revenue, not activity.

Responsibilities

Marketing partnerships

  • Win and activate partnerships with high school athletic associations across the U.S., expanding on our existing relationships with UIL, NFHS, FHSAA, IHSA, and CIF

  • Build relationships with regional PGA Sections and golf governing bodies, and show up where they do: tournaments, conferences, section events

  • Convert association relationships into sales outcomes: warm introductions for Account Executives, joint marketing programs, and event coordination that drives adoption across districts and courses

  • Work with Marketing to turn partnerships into distribution: co-branded campaigns, joint research, and launch announcements pushed through association and section channels that reach our exact buyers with built-in credibility

  • Extend the association playbook to construction and industrial trade groups, converting member reach into pipeline as heat safety regulation accelerates

Integration partner commercialization

Perry Weather has 40+ integrations live, in progress, or in discussion with companies like Eyrus, Singlewire, and Weavix that sell into the same markets we serve. Our Senior Product Manager, APIs & Ecosystem quarterbacks the technical build and deal structure for these integrations. You own turning them into revenue.

  • Partner with the Senior PM to establish commercial agreements that let us sell into integration partner customer bases

  • Activate partner sales teams with GTM assets, positioning, and playbooks so integrations generate revenue, not just press releases

  • Amplify every integration launch through joint campaigns and co-marketing with the partner, so both customer bases hear about it

  • Identify the next integrations worth pursuing based on where they open doors in Education, Construction, and Golf

Requirements

  • 7+ years in partnerships or business development, ideally in B2B SaaS selling into education, government, sports, golf, or construction

  • You've built a partner program from scratch, not just managed an existing one

  • Commercially sharp: you structure deals, negotiate terms, and know a bad partnership when you see one

  • Comfortable operating across sales, marketing, and product without owning any of them

  • You're as effective at a state association conference as you are in a pricing negotiation

  • Willing to travel for tournaments, conferences, and partner meetings (approx. 20% travel)

Benefits

  • You'll want to come into the office. Our Oak Lawn office isn't just a place to sit — it's where ideas move fast and culture stays strong. The whole team is here Monday through Friday, which means real collaboration, no chasing people down over Slack, and a genuinely fun place to spend your work days.

  • Your wellbeing is covered. Competitive health insurance, 401(k) with employer matching, and a full suite of voluntary benefits, because you shouldn't have to think twice about the basics.

  • Good people, good times. Monthly All-Hands, Office Olympics, happy hours, and more. We take the work seriously and the culture seriously too.

  • You're getting in early, and that matters. We're growing fast, but the biggest opportunities are still ahead. The people joining now will help shape what Perry Weather becomes.
