About the Role
LearnLux is looking for an experienced part-time or freelance editor to support the content team in reviewing and polishing varied types of copy to meet our tone, voice, and style and to follow our quality and excellence standards. The goal is to provide exceptional, informative, and engaging content. You will be part of a collaborative culture that puts an emphasis on quality around financial education.
To excel in this position, you will demonstrate an excellent eye for detail, great time management and communication skills, and proven editing and proofreading experience. You will also have a global mindset, understanding the need for localized copy to support a successful content strategy in different countries.
Preferably based in the UK or Europe.

Key Responsibilities
Help transform advanced financial topics into fun, friendly, easy-to-understand contentReview and edit educational lessons to ensure compliance with LearnLux Style Guide, including tone, voice, grammar, and style choicesEnsure all content is free of grammar, spelling, and punctuation errorsSupport the localization process by adapting global content to local preferences, reflecting cultural nuances, local vocabulary, and grammar differencesFact-checking copy and identifying potentially problematic information or statements
You Should Have
Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, English, or similarA minimum of two years of work experience as an editor or in a similar roleFamiliarity with editing in Google Docs Excellent written skills and command of the English languageStrong attention to detail and the ability to spot errors and inconsistenciesExcellent time management and organizational skillsAbility to meet deadlines, prioritize tasks, and adapt to rapid changesAvailability to work at least 15 hours per week
Nice to haves
Knowledge of a second language (Spanish and French preferred)Prior experience in the financial industryPrior experience in localization processes or with adapting copy to multiple locales
