About Arena Club

Arena Club is building the number one digital marketplace for collectibles. We started by reinventing the hobby with the first-ever digital card show, and we are expanding into new categories so collectors can buy, sell, grade, and showcase everything they care about in one place. Spearheaded by 5x World Series Champion Derek Jeter and serial entrepreneur Brian Lee, our fully digital marketplace is grounded in trust, transparency, and fun, featuring grading and authentication, vaulting, and digital pack openings that let collectors build and display their collections in a personalized online showroom from anywhere in the world.

About the Role

We’re seeking a Category Marketing Lead to drive the successful launch and growth of new categories across our marketplace. Reporting to the VP of Marketing, this role will own the go-to-market strategy and execution for category expansions, developing integrated campaigns that drive awareness, customer acquisition, engagement, and revenue.

The ideal candidate is a highly analytical, data-driven performance marketer with deep expertise across paid social, influencer marketing, and Google Ads. They thrive in a fast-paced environment, work collaboratively across teams, and have experience building and scaling customer acquisition programs for ecommerce, gaming, marketplace, or consumer technology businesses.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the marketing strategy and execution for new category launches, from initial planning through post-launch optimization.
  • Develop and manage customer acquisition campaigns across paid social, influencer marketing, Google Ads, and emerging growth channels.
  • Create integrated launch plans in partnership with Merchandising, Design, Analytics, Product, and Operations teams.
  • Translate category objectives into measurable marketing programs that drive customer acquisition, engagement, and revenue growth.
  • Establish KPIs, reporting frameworks, and testing plans to continuously optimize performance and maximize ROI.
  • Analyze campaign performance, customer behavior, and market trends to identify growth opportunities and improve results.
  • Partner with internal creative teams to develop compelling messaging, content, and promotional assets.
  • Manage influencer, agency, and partner relationships to support launch objectives.
  • Support experiential marketing initiatives, partnerships, events, and activations that amplify category launches.
  • Present campaign results, insights, and recommendations to senior leadership.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in digital, growth, or performance marketing
  • 2+ years of hands-on expertise managing paid social campaigns across platforms such as Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and X
  • 2+ years of experience managing Google Ads programs, including search, display, and performance-driven acquisition campaigns
  • Experience launching new products, categories, or business lines
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with experience using data to inform decisions and optimize campaigns
  • Proven track record of driving measurable customer acquisition and revenue growth through performance marketing
  • Knowledgeable in experiential marketing, partnerships, events, or brand activations
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Client-side marketing experience at an e-commerce, marketplace, gaming, or consumer technology company
  • Familiarity with collectibles, sports, gaming, trading cards, or enthusiast-driven communities
  • Experience working closely with merchandising teams to support category growth and commercialization efforts
