📙 employbl weekly recap - September 27, 2024

This week's update for employbl:

📈Metrics
- Active customers: 42
- MRR (last 4 weeks): $950
- New customers (last 30 days): 24

🛠️ Progress:
- Shipped a new Job Application Tracker with Kanban style interface and new features
- Added email verification, automated welcome email and a checkbox to the register page asking if new users want to be subscribed to the newsletter
- Had a call with a candidate who is looking for Data Analyst jobs and is an early supporter. They've requested the saving searches with email notifications for new matches so that's coming up 👨‍🍳

💡 Plans:
- Send out an employbl newsletter via our beehiiv account
- Ship saving job searches and sending automated emails when new job matches for that search come in
- Start up LinkedIn posts again for every weekday next week

🚧 Challenges:
- Our Vercel bill is too high by about $100/month because of “Data Cache” reads and writes. I’ve been trying out things to reduce the data cache usage but haven’t cracked it yet..
