The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Hospital Administrator to help lead the continued growth and success of PSVSE.
The HA is a key member of our leadership team, partnering closely with the Medical Director to oversee hospital operations, team development, financial performance, and the overall client and team experience.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys developing people, building strong relationships, solving problems, and creating an environment where both people and patient care can thrive.
What You’ll Do
- Partner with the Medical Director and leadership team to oversee daily hospital operations and achieve hospital goals.
- Foster a culture built on compassion, inclusion, accountability, innovation, and collaboration.
- Recruit, onboard, coach, and develop hospital team members.
- Support DVMs with administrative, HR, performance, and operational needs.
- Monitor financial performance, labor costs, revenue, and other key hospital metrics.
- Identify opportunities to improve workflows, efficiency, and the experience of our clients and team.
- Oversee scheduling, facilities, equipment, compliance, and other operational needs.
- Handle employee and client concerns with empathy, professionalism, and sound judgment.
- Build strong relationships with referring veterinarians and represent PSVSE within the local veterinary community.
- Partner with hospital leadership on strategic planning, business development, and continued growth.
What We’re Looking For
- 3- 5 years previous leadership and management experience in veterinary medicine or healthcare required.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in Management, Communication, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Experience managing DVMs, physicians, or other professional staff strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of hospital operations and financial performance.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and conflict-resolution skills.
- A people-focused leader who can balance compassion with accountability.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced specialty and emergency environment.
- A commitment to gold-standard patient care, continuous learning, and supporting the people around you.
