We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer specializing in Java to join our R&D team and play a key role in designing, building, and scaling our enterprise-grade platform.
Duties and Responsibilities
Play an integral role in building our dynamic and versatile ecosystem, from technical design through development and deployment.
Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java-based services within a microservices architecture.
Take part in implementing and expanding our proprietary APIs, which are used by numerous enterprise clients.
Continuously develop and improve backend services supporting our existing web and mobile applications.
Take ownership of features throughout the entire software development lifecycle.
Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, product managers, and architects to deliver reliable, high-quality solutions.
Research and integrate cutting-edge technologies that improve the platform’s scalability, performance, and reliability.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering standards and best practices.
Required Skills and Experience
B.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of professional software development experience using Java.
Experience designing and developing REST APIs and backend services.
Experience developing SaaS products based on a microservices architecture.
Experience working with relational databases and SQL.
Experience with Docker, including containers, images, and Docker Compose.
Strong understanding of software design principles, clean code, and testing.
Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
Preferred Skills and Experience
Experience with AWS services, particularly S3 and EC2.
Experience with managed infrastructure services such as Redis, OpenSearch, and SQS.
Experience with Angular or React and CSS/SCSS.
Experience with Leaflet, Ionic, or Capacitor.
Experience with GIS systems or geospatial data.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud-based production environments.
