API keys & MCP

Generate an API key to use Employbl from any MCP client (Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Cursor) or over the REST API. The same key authenticates both; rate limits (60/min, 5,000/day) are shared per key.

API access requires an active Employbl subscription. Upgrade to enable.

Setup notes

  • Keys idle for more than 90 days are automatically expired. Regenerate if your client stops working.
  • Header-bearer keys work in Claude Code CLI and Claude Desktop. The claude.ai custom-connector UI expects OAuth and is not supported yet.
